Child Shot In York County Hospitalized, PA State Police Carlisle Say (

A boy is in the hospital after being shot in Central Pennsylvania, state troopers announced on Monday, Oct. 7. The unnamed child was taken in a private vehicle to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital in East Pennsboro Township on Sunday, Oct. 6, according to PSP Troopers in Carlisle. The preliminary investigation has led PA State Police to believe the child was shot in Carroll Township, York County, although the investigation remains active. There is no threat to the public, according to PSP. Check back here for updates.

Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say
A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say. A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition. No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.

Child Hospitalized After Being Shot In PA Park
A child has been hospitalized after they were shot with walking in a park on Thursday morning, according to a release by Harrisburg police The child had been walking along the Riverfront Park Trail in the 500 block of South Front Street in Harrisburg, when "they heard a shot and realized that they had been hit," police say. Police learned of the shooting when the child arrived at the hospital around 8:45 a.m. The child's age has not been released, but police believe they will not succumb to their injuries. Child, 6, Woman, 28, Shot In Harrisburg
A child and a woman were shot Monday night in Harrisburg. The shooting happened in the 1400 block of Berryhill Street before 7 p.m., according to area police. When officers arrived, they found two victims, a 6-year-old and a 28-year-old woman. Both victims were taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
