Flaming Hot Drive-Thru, Car Catches Fire At KFC On PA Rt 114: Officials
Is KFC now offering flame-grilling or was the chicken just that spicy? The cause of the car fire at a KFC drive-thru on Monday, Aug. 12, was not released when officials made a statement later that day. The car caught fire at the KFC drive-thru window located at 6557 Carlisle Pike/PA Route 114 in Mechanicsburg in the area of Route 11 around 6 p.m. on Monday, according to the New Kingston Fire Company Chief Curtis Hall. Crews used a nearby hydrant to knock down the fire and clear the scene in under 45 minutes. The fire did not spread to the building.

An additional arrest has been announced in a large-scale sex trafficking ring run out of Pennsylvania massage parlors, authorities said. Zigui "Lisa" Zheng was arrested and charged with operating a corrupt organization and dealing in unlawful proceeds, along with related offenses, Cumberland County District Attorney Sean McCormac said. PA 'Asian' Massage Parlor Raid Turns Human Trafficking Ring Bust: DA
A 12-agency joint investigation has led to the downfall of a large-scale human trafficking ring across three Central Pennsylvania counties, authorities announced on Friday, Sept. 1. The sex and human trafficking ring was broken up by a year-long operation: Closed2Trafficking, which targeted 10 massage parlors in York, Dauphin, and Cumberland counties.
