FBI agents armed with warrants descended on the lower Manhattan headquarters of an NYPD union and at the Long Island home of its controversial president. Federal authorities weren't disclosing why the Sergeants Benevolent Association and Ed Mullins were targeted. An FBI spokeswoman said only that the bureau was "carrying out a law enforcement action in connection with an ongoing investigation."
