1.75 Million Travel Steam Irons Part Of Expanded Recall For Fire, Burn, Shock Hazards
Federal authorities announced that a recall initially reported in May has been expanded to include an additional 1.7 million travel irons after there were new reports of injuries. Kansas-based Vornado announced that it is now recalling upwards of two million Steamfast Home and Away Travel Steam Irons due to fire, burn, and shock hazards due to a faulty power cord. According to the company, the cord can become damaged, leading to possible overheating, which then poses fire and burn risks. Dad Of 2 Dies In High-Speed Crash: PA State Police
A 34-year-old dad of two young girls has died in a crash involving ejection, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Anthony M. Snook, of McClure, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on West Specht Street/ PA Route 3014 in McClure Borough at 11:16 p.m. on Tuesday, according to state police. Struggling home goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Sunday, April 23 with plans to close all of its remaining stores after efforts to raise enough money to keep the company alive came up short. Four Bed Bath & Beyond stores across Pennsylvania are among 87 locations scheduled to close in 2023, the struggling retailer announced. A Pennsylvania 13-year-old girl who was reported as missing after taking an Uber to meet a boy she had never met at a Bed, Bath & Beyond in Virginia has been found, police say.
