State police say they are making progress in their investigation of Patricia Woll's homicide. Woll, 43, was living on River Road in Damascus Township, Wayne County when her house caught fire on Aug. 28, 1997. She was found dead inside after firefighters beat the blaze. A "detailed investigation" led state police to declare the fire an arson and Woll's death a homicide.
