MILES OF Backups: Crash Closed All Lanes Of I-81 In Central PA, PennDOT Says

A crash shuttered all lanes of Interstate 81 Northbound in Central Pennsylvania, authorities say.

The crash was between exits 48 to PA 74- York Road and 52A to US 11 North-New Kingstown, according to 511PA.

The crash happened at 8:14 a.m. on Aug. 25. The roadway repopened around noon.

The number of vehicles or people involved is unclear.
