Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Lane Restrictions On I-83: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer crash has led to a lane restriction on Interstate 83 in Harrisburg, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The crash happened on I-83 South at Exit 50: US 22 West - Progress around 2:38 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. The lane restriction was put in place for crews clearing the scene. Lower Paxton Motorcyclist Dies Days After Crash On I-83: Coroner
A 29-year-old man has died at a Central Pennsylvania hospital following a serious crash, the Dauphin County Coroner's office told Daily Voice on Saturday, Aug. 10. Nehad Mehonic of Lower Paxton Township, suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle collided with the rear of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado on Interstate 83 South at mile marker 42.2 just before Exit: 41B - Lemoyne on Wednesday, Aug. 7, the coroner's office and Pennsylvania State Police detailed in separate releases on the crash. Tractor-Trailer Slams Into Bank In York County: Officials
A tractor-trailer crashed into a bank in York on Friday afternoon, July 26, authorities say. The tractor-trailer struck the First National Bank on South Queen Street, PA Route 74 by the intersection of St. Charles Way just after the ramps for Interstate 83, according to the York County Department of Emergency Services. Texas Longhorn Bull Loose On I-83: PennDOT
A bull was "running amok" on Interstate 83, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler announced on Wednesday afternoon. The Texas Longhorn bull got loose near Exit 36 to Fishing Creek, according to Schreffler. The bull was "quick and [had] been evading capture on the ramps, in the gore area, and on the other side by the car wash," Schreffler explained. Dauphin County Man Killed In York Motorcycle Crash: Troopers
Authorities have named the 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Fairview Township crash on Sunday, May 19. Issaiha Seiders was headed north in the left lane of Interstate 83 when he merged right into the center lane, state police said in a release. As he began to pass a Ford Fusion in the left lane, the Ford merged right, striking Seiders' motorcycle and knocking onto the right shoulder, according to troopers. Seiders, of Halifax, was pronounced dead at the scene and a passenger on his motorcycle was flown to Hershey Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver o…
