A Pennsylvania state trooper shot a woman following a standoff in Middle Paxton Township on Thursday, Dec. 26, Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo said. The standoff occurred in the 400 block of Fried Drive and escalated when the woman, identified as Samantha Leigh Atherholt, fired multiple shots, Chardo explained on Friday, Dec. 27. A mugshot has been released of a convicted murderer under arrest after two people were found dead in South Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning, Oct. 9, authorities say. A man is wanted for stealing and damaging Trump lawn signs and flags, the Upper Merion Township announced in an updated release on Thursday, Sept. 26. Over the past two weeks, there were reports of criminal mischief and theft at a home in the 100 block of Nancys Lane in the Brandywine Village neighborhood, the police detailed in a release.
