Missing Man Found Dead In Pennsylvania Quarry: Coroner A man reported missing in late November was found dead in the water of an underground quarry in Slatington, authorities announced on Thursday, Jan. 2. Jesse James Rutt, 41, was discovered in the quarry on the 300 block of East Church Street and pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Rutt had last been seen on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, in the Slatington/Walnutport area, wearing a gray jacket and jeans, police said. Lehigh Valley Motorcyclist, 19, Dies After Crash: Coroner A 19-year-old man has died from his injuries after a motorcycle crash in Walnutport, according to officials.  Eliam Emanuel Buchanan-Ramos' motorcycle collided with another vehicle on Riverview Drive around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said.  He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg where he died from complications of multiple traumatic injuries on Sunday afternoon, officials said. His death was ruled accidental.  Lehigh Township police are investigating, the Coroner's Office added.
