Three Arrested Amid Fireworks Show In Harrisburg: Officials
Three people were taken into custody and the fireworks show was called off during July 4 celebrations in Harrisburg, city officials said in a release. On three separate occasions during the show at Riverfront Park, police said they "noticed what they believed were weapons being carried in the crowd of people," said Mayor Wanda R.D. Williams in a statement. They fled when officers approached them, according to officials. PA Man Kidnapped Four 'Females,' Held Them In Shipping Container: State Police
Four women were abducted, threatened with weapons, and sexually assaulted in a shipping container in the Poconos this week, according to state troopers. Police said they received a phone call about a possible kidnapping involving a Ford SUV around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. They tracked the vehicle down at the Mount Pocono Walmart and found one victim with suspect Isaiah Rogers-Keeney, troopers said. Luzerne County residents may have been duped by a fake cop, authorities warn. Paul Dolan of Scranton is accused of claiming to be a police officer during an interaction on Old Route 115 in Lehman on Dec. 13, township police said. Dolan allegedly approached a driver with a flat tire near the intersection with Church Road and tried to get him to move his car into a patch of dirt, authorities said. A traveler at Newark Airport claimed she didn't know she had a .38 Special stashed behind the lining of her suitcase, authorities said.
