Ex-Philly Cop Found Guilty Of Manslaughter In On-Duty Killing Of Unarmed Black Man
A now-former Philadelphia police officer was convicted Wednesday, Sept. 21 in the on-duty killing of an unarmed Black man nearly five years earlier, authorities said. After an eight-day trial, Eric Ruch Jr., 34, was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and possession of an instrument of crime for his role in the shooting death of 25-year-old Dennis Plowden in 2017, according to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. PA Dad Admits Killing Baby During Outer Banks Vacation: Report
A father has been sentenced to five years in prison after being found guilty of killing his infant son, according to a report by OBX Today. Thomas William Imschweiler, 34, of Harrisburg, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in Currituck County Superior Court on Nov. 15, according to court records.
