Target Reportedly Ends Popular Price-Matching Perk Amid Slumping Sales
Target is ending its perk that matches competitors' prices as the retail giant struggles throughout 2025, according to reports. The price-matching program for deals on Amazon, Walmart, and other online retailers will end on Monday, July 28, Retail Dive reported. Target will only match its own prices up to 14 days after a purchase, either through cheaper prices online or if an item is discounted. Noodles & Company Planning To Close About 20 Restaurants
A popular restaurant chain specializing in noodle-based dishes could close more than 20 locations. Noodles & Company plans to shut down as many as 21 restaurants in 2025, the fast-casual chain said in its first-quarter financial report on Wednesday, May 7. There are 13 to 17 company-owned restaurants expected to be shuttered, along with four franchised locations. The chain hasn't said which locations could close. Police have announced additional arrests at a massive illegal car meetup where drivers antagonized officers in Fairfax County last weekend. An indictment of 16 members of a violent mid-Atlantic crime ring has been unsealed and the federal agencies are naming names. Of the 16, eight of the alleged crime ring members were arrested in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, police in Fairfax County, Virginia announced later that day.
