An Ephrata man who was found guilty of robbing two Turkey Hills— the second time shooting a "clerk in the torso three times with a pellet gun," has been sentenced, the Lancaster District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, Sept. 29. Colby Quinn Mummaw, 28, of the 100 block of S. Maple Street, was convicted by a jury for one count of robbery for each incident following a three-day trial before Lancaster County Judge Thomas Sponaugle in June 2023, the DA detailed in a release. An indictment of 16 members of a violent mid-Atlantic crime ring has been unsealed and the federal agencies are naming names. Of the 16, eight of the alleged crime ring members were arrested in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, police in Fairfax County, Virginia announced later that day. Three teens have been arrested and a fourth is at large following the assault and robbery of a pizza delivery person in Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, police announced on July 20, 2023. Robbers Shot By Pizza Deliveryman In PA: Police
One suspect is hospitalized and another is on the run after Philadelphia police say they were shot by a delivery driver who they tried to rob. It happened in Chestnut Hill just before midnight on Wednesday, July 19, the department told Daily Voice.
