A bible study teacher confessed to assaulting a 7-year-old girl while in church, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Sept. 27. Michael Todd Hess, 49, of Quarryville supposedly admitted to the assaults that happened in a church pew of the sanctuary at New Providence Church of God in Providence Township, Pennsylvania State Police explained in the affidavit citing the investigator's interview. Amish Horse-Buggy Involved In Quarryville Crash: Authorities
An Amish family's horse-and-buggy was involved in a crash in Quarryville on Tuesday morning, authorities explained. The crash happened on Beaver Valley Pike between Old and Fairview roads in Providence Township, according to Lancaster County Wide Communication. Crews were sent to the scene at 8:33 a.m. on March 14, LCWC detailed. "It was just a spooked horse," officials with the Quarryville Fire Company told Daily Voce. No motor vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
