The 52-year-old son of a former US Ambassador started a road rage incident that led to his death, the Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo announced on Tuesday, July 16. Paul Kattouf of Susquehanna Township was found shot dead in the 200 block of State Street (between Second and Third streets) around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, according to the releases by Harrisburg police and the Dauphin County Coroner's office. Coatesville Student Discharges Pepper Spray On School Bus
A Coatesville high school student discharged pepper spray on a school bus carrying nearly 50 students Monday, Sept. 12, dispatch tells Daily Voice. No students were sickened in the incident near N Chester Avenue and Coates Street around 2:45 p.m., district officials said. Several students were evaluated but most did not leave the bus, per instruction from EMS. One student complained of mild respiratory irritation, but refused medical treatment. $8.5M Settlement Reached In Pepper Spray Death Of Philadelphia Inmate
The family of an inmate who died after pepper spray was used on him at a state prison in 2019 will receive an $8.5 million settlement -- the largest settlement for a state prison death in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections filed the agreement for Tyrone Briggs' family on Tuesday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Briggs -- who had asthma -- was arrested at 15 years old for raping a girl two years his junior at gunpoint.
