A Lancaster man is accused of reviving someone he strangled unconscious only to choke them again, according to authorities. Manheim police said it happened at a house on North Queen Street on Nov. 23. Corey Lee Aaron, 29, started an argument with the victim before snatching their phone and breaking it, a witness told investigators. He then threatened to kill the victim and choked them until they blacked out, police claimed. : Woman Killed, Police Officer Treated After Historic Summy House Goes Up In Smoke
A woman has died following a fire at the historic building known as The Summy House. The fire broke out at the Summy House, 33 South Main Street, Manheim Borough at 5:07 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, according to borough police. The fire was in a second-floor room in the historic building that is home to 20 apartments and 22 residents, the police explained in a release that afternoon. Driver With Last Name 'Sheets' Passed Out In 'Sheetz' Lot Had Fentanyl: Manheim Police
A woman found passed out car in a Sheetz parking lot with fentanyl, according to Manheim police. Rebecca Faye Sheets, 40, of Ephrata, was reported by a citizen as passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot located at 1699 Oregon Pike, according to a police release. Upon arrival police found Sheets with a hypodermic needle, according to the release states. Sheets admitted to police that the needle contained Fentanyl, according to the release. Helicopter Crashes At Lancaster Airport
One person was injured in a helicopter crash at Lancaster Airport Saturday morning, county dispatch told local news outlets. A K-Copters 47G-2 helicopter crashed at Lititz airport, at 11:30 a.m., according to the FAA. Two people were on board. One person was able to escape while another was injured, and transported to a local hospital, abc27 says. The nature of the injuries were not clear. Manheim police reported to the scene, which had been cleared as of 1:30 p.m. The FAA was investigating.

Lancaster DA: Officer Shoots Fugitive Who Tried Ramming Him With Stolen Car
An officer fired his multiple shots at a 32-year-old man who tried ramming him with a stolen vehicle before fleeing the scene and crashing, the Lancaster District Attorney's Office said. Manheim police responding to the 300 block of Waterford Court in Lancaster on reports of a stolen vehicle found Corry Brooks behind the wheel of a car around 8:30 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
