Hummelstown Man Charged With Incest In Highspire: Police A 66-year-old Hummlestown man has been charged with incest in Highspire, area police announced on Tuesday, April 9.  Robert William Leeper was arrested on April 4 on felony charges of aggravated sexual assault without consent and incest, the Highspire police detailed.  The charges stem from an investigation that began in January 2024 by a Highspire police detective following a report of sexual allegations against Leeper.  He was released Monday, April 8 on a $50,000 surety bond as set by Judge Marian Urrutia, his court docket show.  His preliminary hearing is set …

Steelton Shooter Tracked Down By The FBI, US Marshals A man who shot some in Steelton on Wednesday, August 24, was arrested on Thursday, September 1, Steelton Borough police say. Melvin Thomas, 43, of the 600 block of North 2nd Street in Steelton, taken into custody in connection "with the assistance of the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service, " police say.
