Authorities have identified the couple shot dead in a murder-suicide in Allentown, the Lehigh County Coroner announced on Friday, Sept. 6. Livi E. Beltran Fernandez, 44, of Allentown, was found dead of a shooting at about 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, in a home on the 2000 block of East Cedar St., according to the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. A toddler has died after being shot in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, March 28, according to Allentown police and the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Police said the 3-year-old victim was shot around noon on the 900 block of East Hamilton Street. A 25-year-old man died in an Allentown shooting hours before the new year, authorities said. Jermel Johnson, of Northampton, was shot at the intersection of 9th and Gordon Streets around 1 p.m., the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said. He was pronounced dead on Friday, Dec. 31, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Authorities have identified a 46-year-old woman who was killed by her boyfriend on Friday in Allentown. An autopsy completed Monday confirmed that Joan L.
