'Serious Injuries' Hospitalize 2 After Tree Falls On SUV: PA State Police Two people are in the hospital with "serious injuries" after a tree fell on their SUV on Wednesday, Pennsylvania State Police announced that evening. The tree landed on the Toyota Highlander along Kirkwood Pike/PA Route 472 in Quarryville, Colerain Township at 12:15 p.m. on April 3, PSP Trooper James Grothey detailed in the release. Heavy rain and winds uprooted the tree sending it down on the SUV's windshield — trapping the pair inside the vehicle, Grothey explained.
