Passenger Vehicle Causes Tractor-Trailer Rollover On I-283: PennDOT A passenger vehicle caused a tractor-trailer to overturn on Interstate 283, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice on Friday, Sept. 27.  The rollover crash happened on I-283 North at Exit 2: PA 441 - Swatara at 2:07 p.m. according to Lancaster County Wide Communications and PennDOT's 511PA. The shoulder closed around 2:44 p.m., according to 511PA.  The crash involved a passenger, Schreffler tells us, explaining that that vehicle is believed to have caused the crash.  HazMat crews from Manheim Township are clearing the scene…

Road Rage: Gun Pointed At Child, Dad On I-283, PA State Police Say A man and his 11-year-old son had another driver point a gun at them in Central Pennsylvania, stated police announced in a release on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.  The 48-year-old Lancaster dad told the state troopers that a white man in a 2014 burgundy Chevrolet Equinox pointed a gun at him and his son near Exit 2 along Interstate 283 in Swatara Township around 8:17 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023. No shots were fired but the man with the gun has not ben located.
