Casting Call: Indie Film ‘Second Date’ Seeks Actors In Allentown
Actors looking to break into independent film have a chance to land a lead role in "Second Date", a short film set to be filmed in downtown Allentown, according to Genii Pictures. The production is currently casting for two male leads between 20 and 25 years old who are of Hispanic descent or can pass as Hispanic, the filmmakers announced. Shane Gillis is having the last laugh, after many awkward ones. The Mechanicsburg, PA native who launched his career in Philly announced his new series "Tires" was bought by Netflix days after bombing his "Saturday Night Live" monologue. A memorial service for "The Wire" and "Boardwalk Empire" star, Michael Kenneth Williams was held in Harrisburg on Tuesday. The memorial service was held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral located at 221 N Front St, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
