Lehigh Valley forklift driver and beloved father of five John W. DeWitt died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5. He was 34.
Born in Jersey City, John graduated from Freedom High School before becoming employed as a forklift operator for QVC, his obituary says.
John lived in Bethlehem at the time of his death and was known for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor and compassion.

Support is on the rise for a beloved Lehigh Valley man who was killed in a Thanksgiving Day motorcycle crash.
John Czuba, 57, was riding a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle when he swerved off the road and crashed into an embankment near 157 Riverview Dr. in Lehigh Township shortly after 3:30 p.m., police said.
Czuba, of Danielsville, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
