PA High School Principal Killed In NJ Crash Driving Son To Soccer Game
The principal of a Pennsylvania high school died in a New Jersey crash while driving his son to a soccer game, district officials said. Sean A. Hughes, who has served as principal of Lower Merion High School for the past 14 years, was behind the wheel of a Ford SUV that collided with a Mercedes Benz SUV in Winslow Township early Saturday morning, local police said. Silver Alert Issued For Man, 87, With Dementia Missing From Central PA
Update: Richard E. Botts has been found safe. Original: A silver alert has been issued for a central Pennsylvania man. Richard E. Botts, 87, of the 4200 block of Ridgeview Drive in Lower Paxton, has been missing since he left his home on Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. Botts has dementia. Police investigating the disappearances of 22-year-old New York native Gabby Petito and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, have obtained some cell phone tracking data for them, according to a brand-new report. A distracted driver was responsible for a crash along Interstate 81 on Friday around noon, according to Pennsylvania State police. Five people were hospitalized before dawn Monday after a utility van crashed into a car attempting to make an illegal u-turn on Route 33 in Northampton County, state police said. A K-9 officer sniffed out methamphetamine on a DUI Cumberland County driver during a routine motor vehicle stop. Newville police pulled over a black and white Ford Crown Victoria for operating the car without official certification of inspection on 100 North High Street on April 13.
