The fire broke out near Exit 37 for PA 233 in Newville on Tuesday, April 15 around 1:13 p.m., prompting emergency crews to temporarily close the southbound lanes while they battled the blaze, according to police. Pedestrian Struck In Chambersburg, Police Say
A pedestrian was struck in Chambersburg, prompting a heavy police and fire response at the intersection of South Main Street and Liberty Street, authorities said. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 13, according to the Chambersburg Police Department. Details about the victim’s condition have not been released. Firetruck Crashes On Way To Fire In Central PA
While heading to literally put out a fire — a firetruck was involved in a crash. The North Middleton Fire Company engine 39 (pictured) was involved in a traffic accident around 8:44 p.m. Saturday, 26, 2023, according to a release by the company. The crash happened when the engine left Stone Church Road for an unknown reason while responding to a fire call in Lower Frankford Township.
