Search For Danelo Cavalcante Is Now Nationwide Danelo Cavalcante has somehow slipped by the hundreds of law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania and neighboring states searching for him in the Longwood Gardens, and though authorities believe he is still in Pennsylvania, they are now describing the search as a "nationwide" manhunt.  The 34-year-old fugitive killer was captured on home surveillance footage on the porch of a residence in northern Chester County near Phoenixville, sometime late Saturday, Sept. 9, Pennsylvania State Police said. Police Are Knocking On Doors Amid Massive Search For Escaped Killer Danelo Cavalcante The search for 34-year-old escaped killer Danelo Cavalcante remains under way in Chester County. Police were knocking on doors around Pocopson Township Sunday, Sept. 3, as there have been sightings of the convicted murderer in the area over the weekend, the Chester County District Attorney's Office said. Hundreds of U.S. Marshals agents, SWAT teams, local, state, and other federal agencies have been searching the area in the days after Cavalcante slipped by guards at the Chester County prison. Yates, 37, of Harrisburg, was convicted for the felony charge of illegal possession of a firearm on Thursday, according to a release by the Dauphin County district attorney’s office. He texted his attorney “moments before opening statements” that he was not going to be in attendance, according to the DA.
