A person was rescued from a flipped car in Quarryville on Friday, February 17, authorities say. The Quarryville Fire Company was called to help the Refton Community Fire Company after a person was found pinned by the car they were driving in the 100 block of Truce Rd. in Providence Township around 8:35 a.m., QFC explained in a release later that morning. A Coatesville high school student discharged pepper spray on a school bus carrying nearly 50 students Monday, Sept. 12, dispatch tells Daily Voice. No students were sickened in the incident near N Chester Avenue and Coates Street around 2:45 p.m., district officials said. A motorcycle rider died at the scene of a crash in central Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 20, police say. Manor Township police were called to a crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Seitz and Manor Church roads at 7:22 p.m., according to a release by the department.
