Pennsylvania Man Drowns After Minivan Plunges Into Celebration Lake: Florida Highway Patrol
A Pittsburgh man drowned after his vehicle became submerged in a lake in Celebration, Florida, authorities said Tuesday, April 15.
The crash happened around 3:37 p.m. near Bloom Street and Front Street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the 71-year-old was reversing his Chrysler Pacifica out of a parking spot on Bloom Street when, for an unknown reason, he accelerated forward, struck a curb and fence, and then drove into the lake.
The van sank approximately 20 to 30 feet underwater near The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection, Osceola County Fire Rescue said.

Wreckage Of Missing Plane That Left PA Found, Pilot Missing
A plane that departed Pennsylvania and went missing off the coast of Massachusetts five days ago has been located -- but the pilot is missing.
The Piper PA-28 was reported missing on Sunday, Oct. 31 around 10 p.m. after it had departed Reading, PA, authorities said. The pilot was identified as 67-year-old Roger Mills, of Woburn, MA.
