Dad Shoots Wife, Daughter Dead: Chester County DA
A 76-year-old man has been arrested for killing his wife and daughter, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale announced on Friday afternoon. Roger Lee Hanks originally of Virginia most recently of Kennett Square is accused of shooting his wife and adult daughter during a dispute "in the early evening hours of April 25," as stated in the release. One of two men accused of shooting a 16-year-old girl at a Central Pennsylvania hotel has been arrested, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 31. Joseph Angel Rivera Jr. was apprehended in Victoria, Texas by members of the Victoria City Police Department and US Marshall's Office on July 21, 2023. A 40-year-old woman was charged with felony child endangerment and other offenses in connection with a Lehigh Valley shooting, authorities announced. A Northampton County Grand Jury charged Fatimah Scruggs with child endangerment and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure — both felonies — as well as reckless endangerment, Palmer Township Police said in a release on Friday, Sept. 23. A 38-year-old man is wanted after he shot into a central Pennsylvania home on Monday night, police say. Penn Township police were called to the shooting the 1st Block of Alabaster Run in Hanover shortly after 6 p.m. Apr. 11, according to a release by the department.
