A former swim and diving coach has been arrested on child pornography charges after he served time for child pornography and corrupting minors in a neighboring county, according to police and court documents. Patrick Eugene Fatta, 49, most recently of Harrisburg, previously worked as the swimming assistant coach and served as the diving coach for Hempfield High School and Manheim Township School District for several years through fall 2014, according to Manheim School District officials at the time. A Harrisburg man has been charged in connection with the shooting of a 4-year-old on Sunday, according to a release by police. Phillip Woods, 49, of Harrisburg, was charged following a shooting in the 300 Block of South 13th Street in the Allison Hill neighborhood on Dec. 19 around 10:15 a.m., according to an updated release by the Harrisburg bureau of police. Central PA High School Senior Killed In DUI Crash, Relative Charged
A high school senior was killed by a relative in a crash on Sunday, according to Swatara Township police. Sajan Basnet, 22, Harrisburg, has been charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and related charges following the head-on crash. Basnet was drunk and speeding when he crashed at the intersection of 61st and Ann streets around 11:40 p.m., according to police and as Daily Voice previously reported. A suspect wanted for stabbing two men in Harrisburg was apprehended by US Marshals on Wednesday, according to area police. Mark Bethune, 40, of Harrisburg, has been arrested in connection with a summer stabbing in Harrisburg. Bethune is accused of stabbing two men at Bill's Cafe located at 2312 Derry Street on Aug. 5. around 8:30 p.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time. Man Kills Roommate During Argument, PA State Police Say
A man in Wiconisco Township fatally shot his roommate on Monday, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Robert Ernest Thomson, 56, of the 200 Block of Williamstown was arrested after he called 911 stating he shot his roommate. Police arrived to find Thomson in the yard waiting from them on Monday around 1:30 p.m. His roommate James Leshko, 39, was found dead at the scene. NJ Man Arrested With 29 Bricks Of Heroin In Pennsylvania, Say State Police
Twenty-nine bricks of heroin and eight grams of fentanyl were found by Pennsylvania State Police during a traffic stop of a New Jersey man, according to state police. Altamir Baldwin, 28 of Woodbridge, was stopped for a traffic violation near mile marker 68.2 on Interstate 81 near Harrisburg on May 27, say PSP.
