$620K In Fake Checks Found In Vehicle With NJ Plates During PA Traffic Stop: Police
A routine traffic stop in Eddystone, Pennsylvania, led to the discovery of a massive fraud operation involving hundreds of counterfeit checks worth more than $620,000, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, March 18.
Christopher Hayman, 29, and Tyree Holmes, 33, were pulled over by Eddystone police while driving a white Volvo with temporary New Jersey plates on Thursday, March 13, according to officials.

PA Man Steals $50K+ From 'Elderly, Care-Dependent Relatives,' Police Say
A 21-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stealing over $50,000 from "his elderly, care-dependent relatives," police said in a release on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Joshua Wood of Cleona was taken into custody by the Pennsylvania State Police on a warrant out of the Derry Township Police Department at approximately 11:57 a.m. on Nov. 7, as detailed in the release.
Wood is accused of using his "elderly relatives' bank accounts" to fraudulently take money for himself, the police explained.

Brian Laundrie Left Home Without Wallet, Cell Phone Before Disappearance, New Report Says
Brian Laundrie left his Florida home without his wallet and cell phone before disappearing, a source close to the family told CNN.
Laundrie, 23, of North Port, Florida, is wanted on a federal warrant for allegedly fraudulently using credit cards after Gabby Petito's death.
He has not been seen since he left his parent's home to go for a hike in at Carlton Reserve. Laundrie's parents were concerned he might hurt himself, the source said.
