Drunk Central PA Prostitute Nabbed After Bike Fall: Police
A bicyclist and convicted prostitute has been charged after she was seen falling off her bicycle in Carlisle, police announced on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Jennifer Anna Maschmeyer, 53, was spotted falling off of her bicycle in the 100 block of North Pitt Street on June 1, 2023, the police said. The observing police officers "suspected (her) to be manifestly under the control of alcohol or a controlled substance," as stated in the release. PA Corrections Officer Resigns Two Days After Prison Video Catches Him Selling Inmate Drugs
A security camera at an Allegheny County jail supposedly captured the moment now-former corrections officer, 34-year-old Raymond Toomey sold an inmate drugs, according to a release by county officials. A review of CCTV footage confirmed a tip by Internal Affairs that suspected synthetic cannabinoids or K2 was in the section of the facility where Toomey worked. Man Drags Gas Pump Hose While Driving High On Heroin, Spits On ER Staff, Newville Police Say
A man was arrested in Newville after police stopped him while driving around with a gas pump hanging out of his car and found heroin. Harry Pytak, 67, of Shermansdale, was stopped while driving his Honda Accord by police in the first block of East Main Street in Newville on Friday, July 23 at 8:45 p.m. Pytak had a gas pump handle and hose hanging from the gas tank of his vehicle and had been dragging them along the road while he was driving, according to Newville police.
