An 11-year-old boy who went missing after attending an event with his mother in Center City has been found safe, Philadelphia police announced on Saturday, Sept. 13. Isaiah Kelvas wandered out of the Spruce Street exit of the Kimmel Center Arts Fest at approximately 12:45 p.m. and was reported missing by his mother, police said. He was located a short time later by Upper Darby Police in the vicinity of the 69th Street terminal, according to authorities. A private equity firm will purchase Skechers as President Donald Trump's sweeping tariffs create growing uncertainty for US footwear companies. 3G Capital will buy Skechers for what could be worth up to $11 billion, the shoemaker announced in a news release on Monday, May 5. It took over a year and a half, but relentless detective work aided by modern tech produced the arrests of two accused police imposters from the Jersey Shore who authorities said tried to abduct an East Rutherford man from outside his home.
