A beloved Pennsylvania dad died after striking an active electrical line while working, authorities say. Marty Mundis, 49, of the 800 block of West Broadway, York Township, was killed while on a job site in 12000 block of Mt Olivet Road in North Hopewell Township on Monday, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office. The coroner was called to a report "that a man died after they struck a high-voltage electrical line" at 12:18 p.m. on Aug. 21. Less than a year after moving to the United States of America a 12-year-old Ugandan boy has drowned in a Pennsylvania lake, his family announced on Monday, Aug. 21. Shaakir Kisubi has been identified as the 12-year-old who drowned at Blue Marsh Lake in Reading on Aug. 19, according to his father Hakim. PA Mom Of 2 Dies After Getting Impaled At County Fair In Freak Accident
A 33-year-old Pennsylvania mom has died after part of a tractor broke off and hit her in the neck at a county fair, authorities said. Brandy Horner was watching the tractor pull at the Union Couty West End Fair when "an exhaust wheel within a turbo housing became dislodged and ejected from its manifold," the wheel "then ejected from the metal covering of the tractor," and a piece of the wheel broke off and became lodged in her neck, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Jason Kweku Apreku, a Stroudsburg resident, died climbing in the White Mountains in New Hampshire on Friday, Aug. 11, according to loved ones and authorities. He was 21. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department said Apreku was on the Osgood Trail to ascend Mount Madison when he suffered from an "unknown medical emergency" and collapsed.
