A Waynesboro man wanted on multiple charges, including terroristic threats and firearm violations, was arrested following a standoff with law enforcement, police announced on Monday, Nov. 18. Timothy Charles Bickham Jr., 44, was taken into custody at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, after surrendering to Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team officers at a residence in the 200 block of Hamilton Avenue, according to the Waynesboro Police Department. A man barricaded in a basement with a hatchet and a machete following a fight with a teenager has been shot dead, the Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele announced on Sunday, Sept. 15. East Greenville Police were sent to a home in the 100 block of Cherry Street for a domestic incident called into 911 by an 18-year-old around 8:08 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, as detailed in the release. Suspect Found Dead After Standoff In Scranton Home: Police
A man has died and a woman is injured after a "domestic dispute" in Scranton on Saturday, June 8, according to city police. Authorities said they were called to 1612 Pine Street for reports of arguing and gunfire around 10 a.m. A 27-year-old woman was found with "a gunshot wound to the upper extremity" and taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center, police said.
