A 43-year-old man who was accused of killing his parents and the family dogs with a sword entered a plea of no contest in September 2024. His trial was supposed to start Monday, Sept. 16.

A teenager mom and her infant son have been missing for days Philadelphia police announced on Sunday, Sept. 15.
Nyauniah Bacon, 17, along with her one-year-old son, Syven Bacon left her home on the 2400 block of West Hagert Street around 5 p.m. on Sept. 12, and haven't been seen since.
The police noted that she has full custody of her son.

A man appears to have been intentionally struck dead in Philadelphia early Sunday morning, Sept. 15, police announced later in the day.
