Vehicle Slams Into Fence On Rt 30 Ramp: PennDOT A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA.  The crash happened at the Route 30 Westbound on-ramp at Kreutz Creek Road in Hellam Township around 11:15 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services dispatch log.  The ramp was closed as emergency crews remained on the scene. It's unknown if anyone was injured.  Daily Voice has reached out to officials for more details so check back here for possible updates.

Maryland Ironman Winner, Dallastown HS Teacher Killed In Bicycle Crash: Officials A former Ironman Maryland All-Around winner and popular Pennsylvania high school teacher was killed in a bicycle crash in York County, friends and officials announced on Monday, July 29.  Joseph "Joe" Klinedinst, 48 of York, died at the scene of a crash at the intersection of Mt Pisgah and Ducktown roads in Hellam Township at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, according to the coroner's release and later identified by family friends and a county commissioner.  Our deepest condolences to the Klinedinst family as yesterday our community lost a great man.
