Hearing On Challenged Provisional Ballots In Cumberland Scheduled: Officials After numerous challenges to provisional ballots in Cumberland County officials have scheduled a hearing. The Cumberland County Commissioners have voted to conduct a hearing to review the challenges to provisional ballots. Fire Destroys PA House; Photos Show Intense Blaze A fire destroyed a home in Cumberland County on Wednesday morning, according to officials. Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 200 block of West Pine Street in South Middleton Township around 9:50 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy flames and thick smoke engulfing the structure, as seen in photos from the scene. Details on possible injuries have not been released, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
