The accident happened in the southbound lanes of Route 222 in Brecknock Township, between the Adamstown exit and the Pennsylvania Turnpike at approximately 4:25 a.m., according to dispatchers and fire officials. Flipped Equipment Closes Rt 222 Ramp In South Central PA (Developing) Equipment rolled off a trailer at an ramp entering Route 222 ramp in Lancaster County on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 29, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation' 511PA traffic cameras. The equipment flipped over at the ramp to Route 222 South from Route 322 in Ephrata Township around 12 p.m., as shown on 511PA. 8 Flat Tires In One Morning Prompts Sinkholes Repairs On Rt 222: PennDOT After eight drivers got flat tires driving over sinkholes on Route 222, repairs are underway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and a local fire company announced on Monday, Aug. 5.  All the flat tires were experienced in the morning commute along 222N at mile marker 37.2 just north of the Brownstown exit before Pool Road the West Earl Fire Company explained around 5:48 a.m. at 7:13 the PennDOT road crews arrived to complete the scheduled repairs.  The sinkholes responsible for the flat tire are within the limits of a 3.3-mile pavement preservation project on Route 222…
