Federally Convicted PA Bank Robber Killed In Lancaster Domestic Dispute: DA (Update) A federally convicted bank robber who was awaiting trial in multiple new cases was fatally stabbed in a domestic dispute in Lancaster, authorities announced on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Matthew Hill, 40, was found dead in the kitchen of a home on the first block of West Farnum Street at 9:49 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, with evidence of "sharp-force trauma," the Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni previously said. Motorcycle Crash Kills Ephrata Man: Lancaster County Coroner A 29-year-old Ephrata man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Rapho Township early Monday, Jan. 13, the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office announced. Brandon Baczek died of multiple traumatic injuries following the crash near Old Harrisburg Pike and Esbenshade Road, according to the coroner's office. Manheim Mennonite Dad Killed Driving Amish Boys, Friends Say A Mennonite dad was struck dead on Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.  Eldon Kreider, 43, of Manheim was driving a pickup truck when he was struck by a sedan at the intersection of Hossler and Breneman roads in Rapho Township at 8:42 a.m., the coroner said.  The driver of the sedan "pulled out in front of him at the intersection," a family friend said. Teen Girl Struck Dead In Lancaster, Coroner Says A 15-year-old girl was found dead on the side of the road on Monday morning, Aug. 5 the Lancaster County Coroner Eric Bieber announced. The coroner had been called to a pedestrian struck at 1420 Beaver Valley Pike in Strasburg Township at 3:28 a.m., according to the release. The teenage girl was found by investigators and the coroner along the side of the road following the vehicle strike, as detailed in the release.
