Motorcycle Crash Kills Ephrata Man: Lancaster County Coroner A 29-year-old Ephrata man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Rapho Township early Monday, Jan. 13, the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office announced. Brandon Baczek died of multiple traumatic injuries following the crash near Old Harrisburg Pike and Esbenshade Road, according to the coroner's office. Emergency responders were called to the scene around 1:17 a.m. Baczek was found in a parking lot off the roadway and pronounced dead at 2:32 a.m., officials said. Manheim Mennonite Dad Killed Driving Amish Boys, Friends Say A Mennonite dad was struck dead on Wednesday morning, Oct. 10, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.  Eldon Kreider, 43, of Manheim was driving a pickup truck when he was struck by a sedan at the intersection of Hossler and Breneman roads in Rapho Township at 8:42 a.m., the coroner said.  The driver of the sedan "pulled out in front of him at the intersection," a family friend said.
