Lehigh County Man Struck, Killed By Train Remembered For His Love For All
The 26-year-old man struck and killed by a train in Lehigh County is being remembered for his love for everyone. Angel Luis Rivera Jr. of Alburtis died at about 9:50 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 after being struck by the train, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. The accident occurred near North Main Street and West Penn Avenue in Alburtis, Angel's brother, Genesis Quinones of Allentown, organized a GoFundMe. Inmate Escapes Prison Work Release At Pennsylvania Walmart: Sheriff
A 46-year-old inmate escaped from the Cumberland County Prison during work release, the sheriff's office announced on Monday, Aug. 19. William Kenneth Rosner, most recently of Lemoyne but previously of Philadelphia, Allentown, Northampton, and Harrisburg — is wanted on a felony escape charge after walking away from the Cumberland County Prison Work Release Center on Mondy morning, Aug. 19, the sheriff explained, and as detailed in court records. Bethlehem Dad Of 7 Drowns Tubing Lehigh River In Allentown: Coroner
For at least the second time this month, a man has died while tubing in the Lehigh Valley, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. This time it was a father of seven children, a family friend told Daily Voice. Antwan D. Daring, 35, of Bethlehem, drowned in the Lehigh River near Waterfront Drive in Allentown on Monday afternoon, July 15, officials said. A man charged with stalking called his victim from jail just one day after his arrest in a Pennsylvania town, 6abc reports. Matthew Kwatyra, 30, of Allentown, was arrested on Thursday, June 6, in connection with a stalking incident that happened in Darby, Police Chief Joseph Gabe Jr. said. A man and a woman riding a motorcycle were killed when a vehicle allegedly turned in front of them on a Connecticut roadway. The pair that was killed has been identified as 32-year-old Carlos Jean Parra Rodriquez of Stratford, with his 21-year-old passenger Deivi Suarez of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
