The Oscars ceremony celebrated "The Brutalist" with the following awards:

  • Best Actor: Adrien Brody delivered a compelling portrayal of László Tóth, a Hungarian architect who immigrates to the United States post-World War II. This role earned Brody his second Oscar, reinforcing his status among the elite actors with multiple Academy Awards.
  • Best Cinematography: Lol Crawley's innovative use of the 35mm VistaVision format, a technique from the 1950s, brought a unique visual depth to the film, earning him his first Oscar.
