Hit-And-Run Driver Sought After Incident At Hollywood Casino: Police A hit-and-run driver fled the scene at Hollywood Casino on Whiteford Road in York County, prompting an investigation, authorities announced on Saturday, Jan. 4. The Springettsbury Township Police Department is searching for a suspect following the traffic incident on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at the casino located at 2899 Whiteford Rd., according to a press release. Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closes I-81 Ramp In Central PA: PennDOT A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that closed an Interstate 81 ramp in Hampden Township on Saturday, Nov. 16, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The wreck happened around 6:45 a.m. on the southbound ramp to Route 581 Eastbound at Exit 59 (Route 581/Route 11/Camp Hill), officials said. Emergency crews responded to the scene, shutting down the ramp for several hours. The crash has since been cleared, and the ramp has reopened. Tractor-Trailer Rollover Cause Closure At PA Turnpike Ramp In Lancaster A tractor-trailer rollover crash has caused a closure at the on-ramp for the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 76, officials said.  The tractor-trailer flipped at Colonel Howard Boulevard in the eastbound lanes leading to the PA Turnpike/I-76 entrance from Route 222 around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, according to East Cocalico Township police and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  "Both lanes will be closed for approximately 1-2 hours," the police wrote in a release. Camper Overturns On I-81 In Lebanon: PennDOT An overturned camper closed a portion of Interstate 81 on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials told Daily Voice.  The camper flipped over on I-81 South at mile marker 84 in East Hanover Township around 11:30 a.m.  The interstate closed for the towing between Exit 85: PA 934 - Annville/ Fort Indiantown Gap and Exit 80: PA 743 - Grantville/Hershey. No injuries were reported.  The crash appeared to have cleared just before 1 p.m. but there are some residual delays according to the traffic cameras on 511PA.
