Amish Toddler Killed In Forklift Accident On Family Farm: Lancaster County Coroner A 16-month-old Amish girl was killed in a tragic farming accident on her family's property in Upper Leacock Township, the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office announced. Martha G. King was struck by a forklift on the grounds of her home on the 100 block of Horseshoe Road in Leola at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, investigators said in a press release. Emergency crews responded for a report of cardiac arrest. When the coroner arrived, Martha was found on an unpaved path and was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m., according to the release.
