The 41-year-old Philadelphia man killed in a double-shooting during an argument in the city's Hunting Park neighborhood early Tuesday morning, Sept. 17, has been identified by authorities.
Gregory Heard from the 2700 block of North Hemberger Street died as a result of the shooting, Philadelphia police stated in a release on Wednesday, Sept. 18. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 12:19 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17.

A 17-year-old boy died early Tuesday, Sept. 10 after being shot multiple times in Philadelphia, authorities said.
Just before midnight, Philadelphia police responded to a person with a gun shooting on the 1800 block of West Sedgley Avenue, in the 39th District, they said.
The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, arms, and legs, police said.
PFD-Medic Unit transported the male to Temple University Hospital, died of his injuries on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 3:15 a.m., police said.

A double shooting has left a 25-year-old man dead and a 1-year-old boy injured, Philadelphia police announced late on Wednesday night, Sept. 4.
Police were called to the shooting in the 3200 block of D Street, in the 25th District, at 6:21 p.m., PPD detailed in the release.

Shortly after midnight on Monday, Aug. 26, Philadelphia Police responded to a shooting on the 2500 block of Kensington Avenue, in the 26th District.
A 41-year-old woman was located with a gunshot wound to the right arm. PFD-Medic Unit transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injury at 12:34 a.m., police said.

A man died from his wounds after he was shot multiple times Friday morning, Aug. 2, authorities say.
The shooting happened before 4 a.m. on the 200 block of West Somerset Street in Kensington, according to PPD. The victim, a man in his early 30s, was struck in the abdomen, right leg, and left arm, police wrote.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead around 4:20 a.m., authorities said. His name was not reported as of late Friday morning.

Woman Shot Dead On North Philly Street, Suspect In Custody: Police
A suspect is in custody for the murder of 48-year-old Rasheedah Lane, according to Philadelphia police.
Jerome Edens, 67, surrendered to police on Tuesday, July 16, PPD wrote in a release.
Lane was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the 2100 block of North Camac Street on July 9, according to officials. She was taken to Temple University Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries an hour later, authorities said.
In addition to murder, Edens is charged with firearms offenses and tampering with evidence, PPD added.

A gunshot victim drove seven blocks to safety after coming under fire in North Philadelphia on Wednesday night, July 10, city police say.
