Suspicious Fire Kills Philly Man, 37: Police A 37-year-old man was killed in a fire that was intentionally set in Southwest Philadelphia, authorities said. The victim's name had not been released. On Thursday, Aug. 29, at about 7:30 p.m., Philadelphia Police and Fire Department responded to a fire on the 5700 block of Harmer Street, in the 19th District. 'Non-Verbal' Adult Goes Missing In Pennsylvania, Police Say A non-verbal adult at high risk of being victimized has gone missing in Philadelphia, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 15. Woodley, also known as Qwan, is 41 years old and a resident of the Resources for Human Development program. He was last seen at about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 7. He is approximately 5’4” tall and weighs 163 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Fourth Suspect Arrested For Attack On Off-Duty Cop In Philadelphia Arthur Jones was arrested by US Marshals in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 28.  Jones, 38, was wanted in connection with the assault and robbery of PPD Officer Eric Rodriguez on May 12.  Marshals said he was hiding in a hotel when law enforcement tracked him down around 11:30 a.m. He surrendered without incident, authorities said.  Officials have said several people assaulted Rodriguez on Oxford Street and stole his gun.
