67-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed While Crossing Philly Street: Police A 67-year-old woman was struck and killed while crossing a Philadelphia street on Wednesday, Nov. 20, according to police. The woman, whose name wasn't released, was crossing the street in the 200 block of North 10th Street when she was struck by a blue Acura at 1:47 p.m., the Philadelphia Police Department said in a news release. Medics arrived on scene and took the woman to Jefferson University Hospital in Center City where she was pronounced dead at 2:20 p.m., according to police.
