Missing Endangered Man Found Dead In Delaware: PA State Police

An 86-year-old man reported missing from Glen Mills, Delaware County, last week has been found dead in Wilmington, Delaware, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Monday, Dec. 16.

Vito D’Amore, of Concord Township, was located alongside his black 2017 Ford Edge on an access road near I-495 Southbound, just prior to the Christina River Bridge, state police said.

Delaware State Police discovered D’Amore at approximately 10:10 a.m. on Monday and contacted the Pennsylvania State Police Media station to report their findings, authorities detailed.

D’Amore had been reported missing on Wednesday, Dec. 11, prompting a search after he was last seen leaving his Glen Mills home.

Police confirmed D’Amore was deceased. No signs of foul play were observed, and the incident is not being considered suspicious.
