Yaniv Gola, 50, is accused of threatening to "injure, rape and kill" eight different people over the phone, said the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Investigators claim Gola used a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service to hide his real phone number from the victims. Investigators believe the calls took place between August 2022 and November 2023.
"You (expletive) Jew, now I know where you are," he allegedly said in one call. "I’m going to kill all you Jews (...) You all should be shoved back into ovens. I’m going down to (victim’s business location) to kill you."
"I want to put a bullet in your head," Gola told another victim, according to prosecutors. "You (expletive) Muslims."
In the most recent call, Gola allegedly said: "You’re Jewish, I’m from Hamas. You’re animals and pigs (...) If you don’t leave that place, we’re going to blow you up."
If convicted, he faces up to 40 years in prison, three years of supervised release, a $2 million fine, and an $800 special assessment, the US Attorney's Office said.
Philadelphia police, Media Borough police, Cinnaminson Township (NJ) police, Newtown Township police, and Haddonfield (NJ) police assisted the FBI in the investigation, authorities added.
