Woman, 21, Charged In SEPTA Driver's Deadly Shooting
The woman accused of killing a SEPTA bus driver on his route Thursday morning, Oct. 26 now faces murder charges, according to authorities. Twenty-one-year-old Zhontay Capers was arrested by plainclothes SEPTA police officers less than a mile from the scene of the shooting, officials said. No weapon was recovered from her person. Authorities said Route 23 driver Bernard Gribbin was shot in the torso and throat around 10:30 a.m. near Germantown and East Abottsford avenues.
