Florida Man Struck Dead On I-78: Pennsylvania State Police
A 49-year-old Florida man has died following a hit-and-run on Interstate 78, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Saturday, Aug. 24. Jymel Dejuan Smith of Clermont is a trucker, according to his social media, he had pulled his tractor-trailer over on I-78 West near mile marker 41.5 in Greenwich Township at 4:54 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, PSP Hamburg Trooper Brian Roland detailed in the release. Fatal Crash Investigation Underway In Caernarvon Township, Police Say
Investigators are now seeking witnesses to the deadly crash on Morgantown Road on Thursday morning, June 6. At least one person died in a wreck between Elverson Road and Ranck Road on Route 10 around 8 a.m., authorities said previously. "We would like to talk to anyone that had witnessed the crash," said Caernarvon Police Chief Paul Stolz. "Also if you had been driving on Morgantown Road between Elverson Road and Joanna Furnace and witnessed anything, please contact us." Call Caernarvon police at 610-286-1012.

Victim Named In Deadly Wrong-Way Crash On PA Route 22
The Northampton County Coroner's Office has identified the 22-year-old man who died after a wrong-way driver drove up a highway on-ramp between Easton and Bethlehem on Thursday, Oct. 5. John Michael Woodburn of Bethlehem died from multiple blunt force trauma, Coroner Zachary Lysek said. His cause of death was ruled accidental.
